Speaker Profiles

Francisco G. Bravo

Dr. Francisco G. Bravo is an internationally trained board-certified plastic surgeon specialising in facial, and general plastic and reconstructive surgery. A highly talented surgeon and eloquent speaker, he has lectured all over the world with many top surgeons. This, along with his international patient base, has given him a unique and extensive viewpoint that has allowed him to develop innovative approaches for facial and other aesthetic concerns. Dr. Bravo is the president of the Spanish Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (AECEP) and a member of the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SECPRE). He is also one of the few European surgeons who is an active member of the two most important American societies in the specialty ASPS & ASAPS. He also received the award for the best scientific work from the British Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (BAAPS). Dr. Bravo is deeply committed to improving the self-esteem, confidence and quality of life of his patients through aesthetic surgery. Outside aesthetic surgery, he also performs reconstructive surgery for skin and breast oncology.

Marc Mani

Dr. Marc Mani, M.D. has practiced plastic and reconstructive surgery in Beverly Hills, California for 23 years. A graduate of Harvard University and Baylor College of Medicine’s integrated plastic surgery program, Dr. Mani is also a practicing artist. He lectures and writes extensively on composite-flap face and neck lifting. Dr. Mani has developed the Scarless LiftTM, an endoscopic en-bloc full composite SMAS-platysma flap without a preauricular scar, which he has presented at global plastic surgery meetings. Dr. Mani also devotes a significant amount of his surgical practice to reconstructing the injuries of victims of domestic violence, terrorism, and human trafficking.

Chin-Ho Wong

Dr. Chin-Ho Wong is plastic surgeon in private practice in Singapore. He completed multiple fellowships including an Advanced Facial Aesthetics fellowship under his mentor, Dr. Bryan Mendelson in Melbourne, Australia. In 2010, he became the first recipient of the International Fellowship Award, by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Dr. Wong has published over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles in prestigious journals including the Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Lancet (resulting in 8439 citations, H index 37). He has won numerous international awards for his research work including the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery’s coveted Best International Paper in 2018 and Best Video Paper in 2021. He also contributed to several key reference textbooks in plastic surgery. His current research interests include facial anatomy, anatomical changes of the ageing face, aesthetic eyelid surgery and ptosis correction. Dr. Wong has special interests in facelift, eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty. He is a founding faculty member of the prestigious Melbourne Facial Anatomy Course (MAFAC). He is actively engaged in the national plastic surgery training program in Singapore, and is a member of the Plastic Surgery Advanced Specialist Training Examination Committee that is responsible for developing the curriculum for Plastic Surgery training in Singapore.

Sydney Ch'ng

A/Prof Sydney Ch’ng is Chair of the Education Committees of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and Melanoma Institute Australia. She is Associate Professor of Surgery at University of Sydney, and an examiner (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery) of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Trained in both head and neck ablative and reconstructive surgery, she specialises in head and neck skin cancers (cosmetically sensitive, advanced/metastatic, perineural invasion), parotidectomy, facial reanimation and facial symmetrisation. With her skills and experience in undertaking complex head and neck surgeries, she is increasingly being sought for cosmetic facial surgical procedures. She has co-authored more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals, and more than 15 book chapters. She supervises multiple higher degree research students in translational and clinical studies, including in skin cancers, biosynthetic implant assisted tissue regeneration, clinical outcomes and patient reported outcome measures following complex facial reconstruction.
